Cupro Hard Powder (001)
Additive values of consumption for hard sulphate copper plating bath.
Additive Values & Control Guidelines
The consumption values are dynamic and depend on the chosen hardness. For standard operations aiming for a hardness of 175 - 230 Vickers, the following values apply:
| Operating Parameter | Specification Value / Standard |
|---|---|
| Bolster Up Additive | 200 - 250 ml per 1000 AH (Ampere Hours) |
| Preparation Rule | 40 g dry powder mix in 10 Litres DM (De-mineralized) water |
| Bath Operating Temp | 25°C to 40°C |
| Current Density | 20 - 40 Amp/dm² |
Operational Note: Operational Note: Consumption values fluctuate based on the specific bath temperature and cylinder immersion levels. Regular, continuous dosing is highly recommended.

NF Micro-Pel (004)
Dry-coat cylinder lubricant engineered to prevent debris collection.
Key Advantages & Application Steps
Engineered formulation to optimize mechanical engraving performance and reduce score marks.
Key Lubricant Advantages
- Stylus Protection: Dry coating prevents engraving debris from adhering to diamond styluses, shoes, or burr cutters.
- Non-Flammable: Engineered formula ensures maximum safety during application, transit, and workshop storage.
- Friction Reducer: Minimizes score marks, allowing the shoe slide to glide smoothly across cylinder copper surfaces.
- Water Repellent: Provides soil retarding and water repellent finish layers.
Application Steps
- Thoroughly clean and dry the rotogravure cylinder surface.
- Apply a very thin, even layer of **NF Micro-PEL** to the rotating cylinder using a clean paper towel or soft cloth. Avoid heavy streaks.
- Buff off any visible excess lubricant with a clean, dry cloth.
- Wipe the cylinder several additional times. This buffs the cylinder to a glassy, dust-free surface ready for diamond engraving.
